A special passenger train with FP7 6141 in the lead is climbing the same grade near Dendron, NC on May 23, 1981. That is Mill Creek at the lower right. The railroad follows this creek for about four miles, then does a double horseshoe loop near Andrews Geyser to gain elevation.
