The sun has just barely had time to rise in the east as train WPV comes through Wells on September 10, 1976. About two miles west of town the SP and WP come together at Alazon. Directional running begins there and runs to Weso, a mile northeast of Winnemucca. |

On September 15, 1987, not much was happening in Wells. Engines 4319 and 3768 have been shut down and sit next to the SP mainline in the company of a bay window caboose. Disk 29 |
