The Western Railroad Video Sales List contains nine videos that I produced and several videos from other producers. In 1992, I began shooting railroad videos. The majority of my train footage was taken west of the Mississippi, primarily in the desert Southwest.
The following descriptions have links to AVI video clips so you can view samples from my productions. Each video clip is about 1.8 Megabytes and will run for ten seconds.
Western Coal Part I covers BNSF railroad operations in the Pacific Northwest, southeastern Montana and northern Wyoming. 45 minutes, in color, live audio, and narration $15.00

Western Coal Part 2 looks at the big show along the Orin Line in eastern Wyoming as BNSF and UP trains move nearly one million tons of coal per day out of the Powder River Basin. 57 minutes, in color, live audio, and narration $15.00
We caught a three train meet on Logan Hill. The first train was the CNAMSUD going to Superior, WI. The second train was the CCAPP going to Pleasant Prairie. As it was passing the CSLCBTM headed north on the middle main. This video has more than just long slow coal trains. Further south we caught the Laurel to Denver manifest at Cassa.

Western Coal Part 3 begins at Guernsey, WY and follows BNSF operations eastward on the Valley, Angora, Sand Hills, and Ravenna Subdivisions. 59 minutes, in color, live audio, and narration $15.00.
Western Coal Part 4 begins in Indiana and moves westward through Illinois, Iowa, and spends the most time between Gibbon and Sidney, NE. We followed several empty trains using the back door to access the Powder River Basin. 58 minutes, in color, live audio, and narration $15.00.
Western Coal Part 5 begins near Sidney, NE and moves south along the Joint Line to Pueblo. Then covers the two routes (former ATSF and former BN) to Amarillo. 60 minutes, in color, live audio, and narration $15.00.
Western Coal Part 6 begins at the former BN Yard in Amarillo. We make a brief visit to the new fly under in East Amarillo and then follow a variety of loaded and empty coal trains on the former BN line between Amarillo and Wichita Falls. The last segment covers UP and BN trains around Tower 55 in the early 1990s. 1 hour 18 minutes, in color, live audio, and narration $15.00.
Western Coal Part 7 tries to cover all the areas not previously covered.
It begins near Canyon, TX and shows a variety of coal trains on the Transcon,
Cajon Pass, the Tehachapi Mountains, and Utah. We visit the Cholla Power Plant near Joseph City, AZ and
the Ghent Coal Facility. We go underground to show continuous miner and longwall operations in Utah.
58 minutes, in color, live audio, and narration $15.00.
The Western Coal series of videos has double track technology that allows you to watch the video with or without narration. When you select no narration and depending on your DVD player, the video may pause for a second as it skips forward to the next segment. Total viewing time will be shorter when you select no narration.
