Extra 7900 East is approaching the Bealville crossover. This was the place where the Allard and Bealville sidings were joined together. Just before the headend gets to the crossover, it navigates around a horseshoe curve. Allard had one siding and Bealville had two sidings. I think the middle siding was removed from Bealville in the 1950s.
Our uphill train slowly grinds to a halt and we know we have a meet planned. A few minutes later train 709 eases down the siding at Bealville. Disk 41
